JamDock Now Shipping

jamdockiPod integration for musicians? That’s now a check.

Alesis has announced today the JamDock. A special dock for the iPod, the JamDock was designed for practicing musicians looking to get their iPod involved in their daily practice and live music routines. The two ¼ inch inputs of the device work with high-impedance guitars and basses and line-level sources. The two ¼ inch outputs provide for outputting sound to either amplifiers, PA systems, or headphones.

“Now, musicians can jam out with the only iPod dock designed for musicians,” said Gregg Stein, Director of Marketing, Alesis.

JamDock ships now and arrives with a free minusDrums.com music-track subscription for play-along sessions. The JamDock is compatible with iPod 3G, 4G, 5G, Classic; iPod nano 1G, 2G, 3G; and iPod Touch iPod, and has an MSRP of $149.99, although street price estimates currently put the device at $99.99.
