Steinberger send some news this weekend saying that they will release, in fact they have already released, a new guitar model the Steinberger ZT-3 Custom Guitar, the first in its custom product line whose most interesting feature is the TrasTrem bridge that is capable of transposing keys and bending chords in pitch and conserving the tune of the rest of the strings when one of them is broken.
The features of the Steinberger ZT-3 Custom Guitar are hard maple body with flame maple top, hard maple neck with integrated CybroSonic patented Graphite U-channel with adjustable trussrod, phenolic fingerboard, 24 medium jumbo frets, 25.5″ scale length, TransTrem-3 Transposing tremolo bridge, USA 90R (neck) and USA 91T (bridge) humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch, volume and tone controls and the tone control includes a push/pull coil system.
This guitar is perfect for carrying it around because its length (35″), weight and premium padded gigbag, it even can be used for hand luggage. The Steinberger ZT-3 Custom Guitar is available for pre-order and its recommended price is $1,600.
