If you are a fan of Stones’ late guitar player Brian Jones and think that the Teardrop Mark III from Vox is too expensive you can take a look at the new signature model released by Hutchins Guitars, the Brian Jones Signature Series, that looks identical to the Vox one.

The features of the Hutchins Guitars Brian Jones Signature Series are premium basswood body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, 21 frets, 24.75″ scale length, fixed bridge, 2 Entwistle single-coil pickups, 3-way pickup switch, one volume and one tone controls and the guitar comes with a British Tweed Signature hardshell case.

This model is not only a signature edition because is also a limited edition, very limited in this case, because from the production of 250 units, 180 will be for Brian Jones Fan Club and the other 70 for the general public, although the limited availability the retail price of the Hutchins Guitars Brian Jones Signature Series Guitar is $1,200.

  1. I’m seriously tempted to get one of these to play Stones songs in my sixties band… but I wish they hadn’t put his signature on teh scratchplate! It makes it seem too much of a ‘novelty’ rather than a serious guitar.
