The Australian company DQC has released a new stompbox pedal that looks like a some-years-ago lunchbox but inside it you will not find a sandwich you can find an animal that will produce a retro good sounding effect pedal. The DQC Lunchbox Distortion Effect Pedal is the result of a process that started when DQC founders were tired of some distortion pedal sounds, so why not build one yourself?
The features of the DQC Lunchbox Distortion Effect Pedal are die-cast case for long life, gain, volume and distortion controls, on/off footswitch and light and rechargeable battery. Although we don’t have any info about its circuitry this stompbox produces a low and full tone that can remind you of some distortioned synths.
Another feature, that almost look impossible, that DQC claims the battery lasts (when fully charged) up to 3 weeks of continuous using. The DQC Lunchbox Distortion Effect Pedal is now available and its price is $200.
