Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue Amp

Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue AmpFender is very active lately and another product that has introduced is the Fender Princeton Reverb Amp a reissued all-tube model based on the Blackface version (the first one, introduced in 1964). A small amp, in size and power, which the main differences between this and the original version are the rectifier tube, the tube reverb and printed circuit board.

The specifications of the Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue Amp are 15-watts power output, single channel, 3 12AX7 and 1 12AT7 preamp, 2 6V6 power amp and 1 5AR4 rectifier tube, 10″ Jensen C-10R ceramic magnet spekaer (40-watts), 2 inputs, volume, reverb, speed (tremolo) and intensity (vibrato), 2-band EQ and 2-button footswitch (reverb and vibrato on/off).

This amp comes with a black tolex cover with chromed knobs and produces a vintage tone anywhere you use it (studio, stage, club, …) Neither the availability nor the price of the Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue Amp have been announced yet but looking at the Fender site the price will be definitively lower than the originals that are being auctioned.

  1. These have been in shops here in Nashville for several weeks. There’s one at Guitar Center for $799.
