This is the last released model by Godin, a very versatile guitar that is like having 2 different models together. The Godin Guitars Summit CT Electric Guitar has a control that changes the frequency range of the guitar, so you don’t get one cool looking and sounding guitar, you get 2.
The features of the Godin Guitars Summit CT Electric Guitar are mahogany body, with carved flame maple solid top, and neck, ebony fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 and ‘59 humbucker pickups, 5-way pickup switch and volume, tone and high-definition revoicer (that changes the response of the pickups to make it sound like an active one) controls.
This guitar comes with a gig bag and is available in natural flame, sunburst flame and trans black flame finishes, very good choices by Godin. The Godin Guitars Summit CT Electric Guitar will be soon available and its MAP is $995.
I like the guitar. The pickups change the response so it sounds like another guitar? This must be good. I need to read more. I think it looks heavy is it? And why is Godin making this the last guitar?

My current guitar is a piece of crap Les Paul copy and I’ve been shopping around for my first decent guitar for a while. As soon as I saw the build quality of the Godins and read some of the reviews I realised this was the company I was going to be buying from. After a bit of research I narrowed the model down to the Summit CT. It has everything I want in a guitar, and looks amazing.
I placed my order today, but the guy in the shop told me it wasn’t getting shipped to the U.K. for 6 freekin weeks, so I’ll just have to twiddle my thumbs and drool over pictures for a little while longer. Maybe watch people on YouTube playing theirs. It’s going to be a very very long 6 weeks.
