The Ibanez 30th Anniversary Benson Jazz Guitar has an astronomical list price of $13,333, includes a special case and is only available in garahaku silver flake finish with gold hardware.
Oh I was a bit disappointed when I saw this, maybe it looks better in the flesh so to speak? That finish… hmm…

Growing up in the 60’s, George Benson was one of my guitar idols, and I have seen him in concert many times.
But this guitar, the 30th Anniversary Benson??????……………….What was Ibanez thinking?
I love the inlays on the neck, but this finish is truly terrible. Perhaps an AAAA spruce flame finish, or some other high end wood grain.
The original GB-10 is a much classier looking Guitar……….I think Ibanez dropped the ball on this attempt at a tribute to Benson…………………..Sorry Ibanez………….No cigar!!!
