Maybe tired of releasing one model each month, we must remember that last year was one per week, Gibson has unveiled all the models from the Guitar of the Month that will be released during this year. The next month model is the Gibson Shred X Explorer Guitar that adds more power to the classic and already powerful Explorer guitar
The Gibson Shred X Explorer Guitar features mahogany body and neck, ‘50 rounded neck profile, ebony fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Kahler 2215K tremolo system bridge, 2 EMG 85 humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch (placed where it used to be in the 80s) and 2 volume and 1 tone controls.
This guitar comes with a hardshell case and ebony finish, we don’t know if there will be any more finishes (probably not), but the production run of this model will be 1,000 units. The Gibson Shred X Explorer Guitar is now available and its price is $2,270.

Erm shouldn’t that be SHRED X? not SHED?
True, thanks Jon, I’ve corrected it.
