Pro Tone is one of the most original pedal effects maker for the designs featured on the product and the way of introducing it, a pedal caricature very similar to some comic books’ style. Their last model is the Pro Tone Rams Skull Fuzz Pedal has been based on the good but expensive Ram’s Head pedal with some re-design but basically with the same components.
The specifications of the Pro Tone Rams Skull Fuzz Pedal are true hardwire bypass, zero noise, sustain, tone and volume controls, on/off super bright LED and footswitch and is powered by a 9V battery or a BOSS style adapter. The original pedal was heavily used by David Gilmour on the 70 and 80’s, so if you like his tone… you must think about this pedal.
Although you only see a draw of the pedal, this model is built to last almost until you die with durable aluminum housing and extremely hard stomp switch. The Pro Tone Rams Skull Fuzz Pedal is now available and its price is $199.
They’ve got a YouTube video of the Rams Skull- I like the no-nonsense “this is what it is, we’re not going to hide it” approach. They did the same with their Dead Horse Overdrive. Cool stuff… a little on the spendy side, but cool
