One year after the release of the HT Valve Overdrive Blackstar has released a full line of products on the HT series that have won an award from a guitar magazine. There are 5 pedals in this new line, HT-BOOST, HT-DRIVE, HT-DIST, HT-DISTX and HT-DUAL, that share the same metallic and simple (with few buttons) design and all of them have tubes, let’s see their features.
The Blackstar Amplification HT-BOOST adds more power to your rig with 2 tubes without adding noise, it also features buffered bypass. The second one is the Blackstar Amplification HT-DRIVE thaqt includes dual triode stages that produces a huge range of tones from warm to agressive gained tones. While the Blackstar Amplification HT-DIST works as a tube amp and includes a speaker emulated output to work in a studio.
The Blackstar Amplification HT-DISTX is the older brother of the HT-DIST, same features but more powerful ultra gain distortion. The last is the Blackstar Amplification HT-DUAL, a 2 channel pedal, like an amp, 3 sound modes (clean, crunch and distortion) and includes all the features from the other pedals from the serie.
