Another model released on the Inspired By series, this time is the turn of Steve Jones the guitar player of the Sex Pistols that owned and played a 1974 Les Paul during those days that has been recreated (including the stickers) for this serie. The Gibson Steve Jones Inspired By Les Paul Guitar will be in the wish list of all nostalgic 70’s punk fans, but, be aware, you must prepare your pocket.
The specifications of the Gibson Steve Jones Inspired By Les Paul Guitar are 1-piece mahongay body with carved maple top, 1-piece mahongay neck, ebony fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, ABR-1 bridge with stopbar tailpiece, 496 R and 498 T non-covered humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch and 2 volume and 2 tone controls.
The guitar comes with a aged yellow finish (that originally it probably was a white finish with a lot of smoke), certificate of authenticity and custom shop case. The Gibson Steve Jones Inspired By Les Paul Guitar is now available and its price is $4,400.

I want one, I can afford one, but you get get ****ed if you think i’m going to buy one, I’ll do what Steve would’ve done, I’ll nick one.
Actually, I think they should’ve made it more expensive, so only sad old posers with too much cash can get ripped off! Do what Steve Jones would’ve done .. steal it. I’m glad they didn’t make a cheap Epiphone version like they did with Zakk Wylde, Slash et al, that’s just Gibson ripping off good folk of their ‘fithy lucre’ who can’t afford the ‘real’ replica. Shameful!
it’s fuckin appalling that gibson should expect people to pay $4400 for a shaggin guitar, i would love one just to say i had a guitar like steve, but fuck em !, i’ll make one !
Hello stu. Im gonna STEAL one just like steve did! lol JUST KIDDING!. But i agree with you about Gibson. Apparently, Gibson has decided that they will only sell the real guitars to rich people, and the rest of us shouls be grateful to buy one of their chinese made peices of JUNK!. Before anyone starts slamming for me for being a “china hater” just stop. Guitars are not the same as cheap clothing or cheap (often poisonous) pet food.Gibson knows what they are doing: selling out thier own heritage to get rich now. What young musician will be buying Gibsons 20 years from now? they’ve already turned away from them and it breaks my heart. I will NEVER buy another Gibson retail. I will buy fender, i will buy Carvin, but not Gibson. I suggest my freinds in the UK do the same, or support your own high quality local guitar maker. Boycott gibson! you cant afford one anyway
its annoying why gibson are pricing this guitar at 4400 dollars for a guitar that the original player didnt even pay 10 quid for
Soon after its release, this Gibson has been one of the most asked about guitar at our stores. It’s definitely a beauty!
