The Fargen Guitar Amps company has released a new amp model that brings the classic tube British tone wherever you are, jamming at home or recording in a studio, because of the power reduce knob. The Fargen Mini Plex MK II Guitar Amp is a single-ended class A all-tube amp that allows you to use any tube you want and is available in head and combo versions.
The specifications of the Fargen Mini Plex MK II Guitar Amp are dual power tube sockets (for octal power tube), no rebiasing, 12 watts power output, 2 12AX7 preamp and 2 EL34 tubes, VOS / british boost, lo / hi, single / dual power tube and 3-way decade rotary (for 60, 70 or 80’s Marshall tones) switches, 3-band EQ and power (that sets the amp voltage, from 12 to 0.5V), volume and master controls (all from 0 to 11).
Both models are now available and their prices are $1,695 for the Fargen Mini Plex MK II Head amp and $1,895 for the Fargen Mini Plex MK II Combo, that includes a 12″ speaker.
