
The instrument brand of Ernie Ball, Music Man, has released 2 new ball family reserve (that was only available for family and friends) signature models from 2 famous guitar players, John Petrucci (Dream Theater’s axeman) and Albert Lee (Bill Wyman, Eric Clapton and many more). The guitars, Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee & John Petrucci Baritone Ball Family Reserve, have been unveiled but few details have been introduced.
The Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee Ball Family Reserve features ash body and maple top, maple neck, 6 pounds 11 ounces and RPS Slinkys 10-46 strings. While the Ernie Ball Music Man John Petrucci Baritone Reserve, a guitar with deep low sound and bass-size scale length (27.5″), includes alder body and maple top, mahogany or rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, DiMarzio Custom (neck) and DiMarzio D-Sonic (bridge) humbucker pickups and 12-62 strings tuned from B-flat to B-flat.
The Albert Lee mode is only available in the pink finish chosen by Lee but the Petrucci model is available in all the Music Man color range. The MSRP of the Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee & John Petrucci Baritone Ball Family Reserve are $3,500 and $4,200, so prepare your pockets or your bank accounts.
