Another model on the Inspired By series by Gibson Custom Shop, Gibson Alex Lifeson Inspired By ES-355 Guitar is the ES-355 version of the Rush guitar player, Alex Lifeson. The guitar is based on a ‘76 ES-355 semi-hollow body model, although we could better say a re-creation model.
The Gibson Alex Lifeson Inspired By ES-355 Guitar features maple body and neck (3-pieces), ’60s neck profile, ebony fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-o-matic bridge with Maestro Long vibrola tailpiece, 2 ‘57 Classic humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup and 6-way Vari-Tone bypass switches and 2 volume and 2 tone controls.
The guitar comes with Custom Shop case, certificate of authenticity and an alpine white finish. As Cary announced the Gibson Alex Lifeson Inspired By ES-355 Guitar will be available next March 3rd and its price will be $3,700, only affordable for wealthy pockets.
