There are issues with the drivers that come with this unit. It works sometimes with Windows XP and not at all with Vista. The Presonus web is/was not helpful.
However, I found a solution.
First uninstall the Presounus drivers that came with the box. Restart —Install ASIO4all — (www.asio4all.com) Plug the Audiobox USB in and let it load the Microsoft drivers. Open ASIO4all and enable Audiobox USB. Open cubase and in the device settings choose ASIO4all.
I have not tried my MIDI keyboard yet but I was able to record through a mike and playback through the headphones
Overall, the unit works good and the sound is very clean.
