One of the most original and known amp company, Orange, will release 2 new models to celebrate its 40th anniversary, that are being built with the finest components using all the experience of Orange designers. The Orange 40th Anniversary Amps will have 2 different models will be one from the custom shop and the other will be a limited edition production version
The Orange 40th Anniversary Custom Shop model, that at least at the moment doesn’t have a more precise name, is a fully handmade amp including point-to-point hand-wired connections and will feature a plexi-glass front panel, high and low inputs, 3-band EQ, gain and volume controls (at least this is what I could understand from the graphical knob titles). Each model will have its own girl name and will come with a circuit certificate and documentation.
The production limited edition model is the Orange OR50 head amp that will feature 1 channel, 8-section output transformers, master volume control (that can be footswitchable) and plexi-glass front panel; this amp also has an updated version of the HF Drive control that adds a chime to the classic Orange tone.
This amps have, by now, no pricing or availability information.
UPDATE (04.08.2008): 
We’ve received some more info about the Orange 40th Anniversary Amps, there will be also a PPC412 LTD Limited Edition 40th Anniversary Cabinet featuring 4 x Celestion G12H-30 speakers and 120 watts output power.
