Carvin has released a reissued version of the classic X-100B tube amp that was introduced more than 20 years ago and was used on the Crossroads film. The new Carvin X100B Amp is available in 4 versions: head (X100B), half-stack (XB412), full-stack (XB812) and combo (X212B).
The features of the Carvin X100B Amp are 100 watts power output (switchable to 50 or 25 watts), 2 channels (clean and lead), 4 EL34 power and 3 12AX7A preamp tubes (the amp has a bias switch for 5881, 6L6GC or EL34 tubes), 3-band EQ, master presence, reverb, volume (with boost switch) and boost controls, 5-band graphic EQ and cabinet simulated XLR balanced output.
The head amp version can be combined with any Carvin 4 X 12 guitar cabinet on any of the available colors. The Carvin X100B Head Amp is now available and their prices are $700 for the X100B head model, $1,000 for the XB412 half-stack model, $1,400 for the XB812 full stack model and $800 for the X212B combo model.

These amps are better than mesa dual recs
there half the price aswell
I’m glad they brang them back.
dont let anyone tell you any differently, awsome amp, used mine for over 20 years and its a tank. i have bought and returned marshalls and nothing other than a great fender twin or bandmaster top will match mine. yea it has 6l6gc tubes and man what headroom and clarity. its not a high master amp but if you want great vintage tone this amp and a super overdrive pedal or a tube screamer or even a ds 1 is an awsome combo. i will buy another one. anyone at carvin hear me, I need some sponsorship I love your shit!
