Sorry for the lack of posts in Music Gadgets this last days but we are back with many more news like the 2 models released by Victoria Amps, the company that wanted to reissue Leo Fender’s tweed amps from the 50’s. The models released have been called Electro King, a modern version of a GA-40 Gibson amp and Golden Melody, an amp with a rich harmonic tone produced by vibrato and reverb effects.

The first model, the Victoria Amps Electro King, is a low-power amp, only 15 watts (but has the characteristics of a big tube amp) with 5879 preamp circuit, the same featured in the Gibson GA-40 model, 2 channels (normal and tremolo, that uses a NOS 6SQ7 oscillator tube), tube compression, NOS 6V6 tube and Jensen P12Q alnico speaker.

The second model announced is the Victoria Amps Golden Melody also a combo amp with 50-watt power output, 2 x 12″ speakers and a GZ-34/5U4 and two 6L6GC power amp, 3 12AX7 (for the built-in vibrato effect) and a 12AT7 (for the reverb effect) tubes. The sound produced by this amp is similar to the Reverberato model.

The MSRP price of these models are $3,000 and $3,500 and their availability has not been announced yet.
