One of the new products by MXR, after the release of the M-169 and M-159 pedals at the Winter NAMM, is a new and versatile bass fuzz pedal called MXR M-182 El Grande Bass Fuzz, which sound is like a 70’s fuzz pedal tone but applied to bass guitars and specially well combined with lower notes.
The specifications of the MXR M-182 El Grande Bass Fuzz Pedal have been based on traditional fuzz pedals and adapted for bass players and are volume, tone and fuzz controls, deep switch (that boosts the bass tone with +15 dB), on/off footswitch and blue LED and internally adjustable frequency from 87 to 113Hz.
The pedal comes in a very cool aluminum design with high quality connectors and durable casting. The price of the MXR M-182 El Grande Bass Fuzz Pedal will be $100 but its availability has not been announced yet.
