The Jim Dunlop’s MXR brand has updated its product line with 2 new effect pedals, the first one is the MXR M-169 Carbon Copy Analog Delay, an all-analog effect based in old-school bucket brigade technology, and the second one is the MXR M-159 Tremolo-PR, a reissued version of the TS-1.
The features of the MXR M-169 Carbon Copy Analog Delay Pedal are true hardwire bypass, 600 ms delay time, regen (number of delay repeats), mix (dry/wet blend) and delay (adjusts delay time) controls, modulation switch, internal width and rate modulation trim pots, on/off footswitch and blue LED and 9V-powered. MXR says the sound produced by this pedal covers a huge range of delay types, from simplest echoes to the warmth and smooth Gilmour-like delays.
The other introduced product is the MXR M-159 Tremolo-PR Pedal, a pedal based on the classic TS-1 by Dunlop that includes mono & stereo modes (with selectable switch), stereo inputs (that allows to connect 2 instruments) and outputs, on/off and pan (that inverts the waveform in the stereo output) footswitches and 18-volt powered. The sound produced by this pedal can be hypnotic, so be careful.
These pedals will be available on April and the MXR M-169 Carbon Copy Analog Delay Pedal price should be $150, the MXR M-159 Tremolo-PR Pedal price has not been unveiled yet.
