Marshall JVM2 New Amps [Winter NAMM 2008]Besides the Randy Rhoads signature amp, Marshall also unveiled at Winter NAMM show 5 new models from the JVM2 series, the little brother of the successful JVM4 series, that has all-tube signal path and some very interesting features like “amp presets”. There are 5 models of this Marshall JVM2 Amp Series, JVM210H (100 W) and JVM205H (50 W) head amps and JVM205C (50 W), JVM210C (100 W) and JVM215C (50 W) combo amps.

All models include 2 channels and 3 modes per channel, 2 volume, resonance, presence and 2 reverb master controls, 3-band EQ gain and volume controls per channel, 2 channel, reverb, fx loop, MIDI/footswitch and master on/off switches on the front panel. The tubes included in the amps are 4 ECC83 preamp and 1 ECC83 and 2 EL34 power amp tubes, also the combo models include 1 Vintage and 1 Heritage 12″ speakers for the JVM210C and JVM205C amps and JVM215C combo amp includes a G21B speaker, all of them from Celestion, while the head models can be connected to any 4×12″ cabinet.

The Marshall JVM2 Amps come with a 4-way footswitch that allows to store your front panel adjustments and recover them whenever you want and also allows you to change the channel modes. This amps can also be controlled by MIDI interface using its MIDI in and thru connections and connected to any recording device with its speaker-emulated XLR output.

The MSRP prices of the new Marshall models are $2,660 for the JVM210H, $2,400 for the JVM205H, $3,200 for the JVM210C, $2,850 for the JVM205C and $2,700 for the JVM215C.
