I purchased this amp for $249 in Ontario. I wanted an amp that is portable, with adjustable drum patterns, effects and good sound. I have not been disappointed. I used this a small group church setting last week and the participants were singing and clapping with enthusiasm! I was delighted, and I could change from song to song with just a bit of adjustment. I used a tokai LP and got a nice variety of sounds for each song. Acoustically, for precision, it was not there, but it was convincing enough. Roland recommends using a single coil for better accuracy, so I dont know yet. I feel people just want to enjoy the music and this steps right up to the plate. I like it for its lightweightness and the 7 cosm models, it has good variety, also a "mic" choice for speaking or singing, too bad it only has one input. The effects are okay, they do the job, not crazy about delay. Comes with an ac adapter, overrides the batteries when in use. I would buy another again for sure, a good buy for me.

Well, enough for home rehearsal, IMO. It is a good thing to own one in your room for playing it when home. I also used to have a small one, not a Roland, but a custom made, but with this kind of power, it works great at home.
