This new amp by Line6 is probably one of the most interesting amp releases lately for guitar players, the Line6 Micro Spider Portable Combo Amp that belongs to the Spider III product family is a 9.5″ x 10″ x 7″ and 7 lbs compact and portable amp that includes the classic modeling sounds from the Line6 products.
The Line6 Micro Spider Portable Combo Amp features 6-watts power output, 6.5″ speaker, 4 Spider III amp models (clean, crunch, metal, insane and acoustic), 6 built-in effects (chorus/flanger, phaser, tremolo, sweep echo, tape echo and reverb), 1/4″ mic (with trim knob), mini aux stereo and 1/4″ instrument inputs, POD 2.0-style direct and 1/4″ headphone outputs, tap tempo control for echo effects and chromatic tuner.
This amp has all the characteristics of a real portable amp like battery-power (6 C batteries) or AC adapter, compact size, headphones output and light weight, a great tool as practice amp on the road in my opinion.
