Although there was info only in the Spanish Roland website, Roland has officially unveiled their last effort in audio workstations, the Roland Fantom G6, G7 & G8 Music Workstations, with 61, 76 and 88 keys, respectively, with velocity and channel aftertouch, 44.1 kHz sampling rate and many more features, lets take a look.
The new Roland Fantom G6, G7 and G8 models feature SRX famous Roland quality sounds, ARX expansion (with SuperNATURAL, synth and effects sounds), 128 tracks (with 24 audio tracks) sequencer, multi-effects unit with up to 22 simultaneously effects, LCD display, XLR and TRS combo connection, phantom power for condenser mics, instrument and line inputs and PHA II keyboard with counterweight and ivory touch only available in the Fantom G8 model.
Other features include 3 different choruses, 10 reverb types, 3-band compressor, pitch bend/modulation lever, 4 knobs, 8 slider, 2 assignable switches and D Beam controls, an many more, take a look at the official site for a complete list of features. whts the difference between g6, g7 & g8 phantom workstation models?
Besides the number of keys, the main difference is the PHA II keyboard with counterweight and ivory touch that is only available in the Fantom G8 model.
