This will probably be the most politically incorrect product displayed at Winter NAMM 2008, the new guitar amp by Metasonix that has been called Metasonix G-1000 F*cking F*cker All-Tube Amp. This amp, in fact there are 2 amps inside, has more things besides the name, it has an all-tube circuit path and 2 faces, one very quiet, but the other is extremely aggressive.

The Metasonix G-1000 F*cking F*cker All-Tube Amp features 2 channels, 15-watts power output per channel, stereo/dual speaker output and 23 vacuum tubes, 8 6BK5 output, 6GU7 phase inversion and 6AU6, 6BJ6, 6CB6, 6BN6, 5BQ7, 6AK5 and some more as preamp tubes. The 2 channels, or must say the 2 amps, have a very different character, the HAPPY channel, based in pentode tubes, has the features of a classic amp, 3-band EQ, reverb, phase (that mixes normal and inverted signals) and master and input level controls, enable and gain switches; but the ANGRY channel will provide you the most raw and distortioned tone you have ever heard, with 3-band EQ, reverb master and input level controls, a literally name “ream your ass” control, enable and pain switches, 6BN6 tube and two remote-cutoff pentodes.

If you want this aggressive and raw amp you’ll have to wait until the end of this year, but you can start saving because the Metasonix G-1000 F*cking F*cker All-Tube Amp has an expected retail price of $5,000.
