ESI DuaFire Mobile Recording Interface [Winter NAMM 2008]

ESI will introduce several new products on the Winter NAMM show one of them has already been unveiled, a compact and portable recording interface specially designed for home or laptop-based studios. The ESI DuaFire Mobile Recording Interface is a upgraded version with a new design and some improvements from the device released 2 years ago.

The ESI DuaFire Mobile Recording Interface features 24-bit and 96kHz A/D and D/A converters, 2 channels, 1 XLR, 1 line, 2 RCA and 1 instrument inputs, 1 headphones, 2 1/4″ and 2 RCA outputs, FireWire connection, gain level controls per channel, headphones output level control and amp, support for DirectWIRE 3.0, EWDM, MME, ASIO 2.0, GSIF 2.0, CoreAudio and DirectSound formats.

As almost all ESI products this interface comes with Cubase LE 4.0 and works in Windows and Mac OS X. The ESI DuaFire Mobile Recording Interface is now available and its approximate price is $250.
