Allen & Heath ZED-24 USB Mixer [Winter NAMM 2008]

The Allen & Heath’s ZED product line is growing again, this time a new mixer for professional or semi-professional studios or for running your shows. The Allen & Heath ZED-24 USB Mixer includes the same features than other ZED mixers but with some improvements, let’s take a look.

The Allen & Heath ZED-24 USB Mixer features 23 independent sources, 16 mic/line mono, 4 stereo and 3 dual inputs all of them with an independent gain control, 2-stage DuoPreTM preamps, 3-band EQ per channel, 4 aux sends (2 for pre-fade and 2 for post-fade), USB connection for transferring audio in recording or playing, or to used external effects, high-pass filter and headphones, stereo record, alt stereo and mono LR sum outputs.

This mixer comes bundled with Cakewalk Sonar LE software (that can be used to insert effects in the mixer). The Allen & Heath ZED-24 USB Mixer price and availability have to be announced yet.
