Godin 5th Avenue Acoustic Archtop Guitar [Winter NAMM 2008]

Godin 5th Avenue Acoustic Archtop Guitar [Winter NAMM 2008]

Godin Guitars is also moving quickly for the near Winter NAMM show and its movement is, probably, one of the most beautiful seen around lately. The Godin 5th Avenue Acoustic Archtop Guitar wants to remember the 50’s with an awesome vintage design but including some modern improvements converting an apparently rustic archtop model in a modern and playable guitar.

The Godin 5th Avenue Acoustic Archtop Guitar features Canadian wild cherry body, silver leaf maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 21 frets (there’s no inlays after the 12th fret), 24.84″ scale length, adjustable rosewood bridge and all the classic elements from an archtop guitar, the f-holes, the pickguard and the trapeze tailpiece.

The guitar is also available, the one in the image is the cognac burst and it’s my favorite, in natural and black finishes. The Godin 5th Avenue Acoustic Archtop Guitar price and availability have to be announced yet.
