
Another company that is moving for the Winter NAMM show is Mackie that has unveiled some details about the 2 new VLZ3 series mixers, the Mackie 402-VLZ3 & 802-VLZ3 Mixers will be the small components of the family that will be perfect for small home studios where the space is an important issue.
Both models have the same sound quality than the other VLZ3 mixers and feature compact and durable design, mic preamps, phantom power, line and instrument inputs, active EQs, LED meters and low noise. The specific features for the Mackie 402-VLZ3 Mixer are 2 channels, 2-band EQ, mic/line inputs, XDR2 preamps, high-pass filter (with switch) and the possibility of converting the 2 mono into 1 stereo channel.
The Mackie 802-VLZ3 Mixer features 5 channel strips, 3 XDR2 mic preamps, gain controls for the preamps, 3-band EQ and pan control per channel and stereo aux return.
Both models will be available in February (outside US in March) and their MSRP prices are $130 for the 402-VLZ3 model and $260 for the 802-VLZ3 model.
