We talked about the DMIX-300 some months ago and this product will be shown in Winter NAMM show together with its bigger brother, the Cortex DMIX-600 Digital Music Controller. The device is also a iPod friendly mixer and controller for audio professional with very interesting specifications.
The Cortex DMIX-600 Digital Music Controller features 2 channels, MP3 playback support (constant and variable bitrate), 1 jog wheel per channel (for searching, pitching or scratching) and 3 built-in effects (filter, flanger and reverb), and in the mixer side, 3-band EQ and gain control per channel, 45mm crossfader (with selectable crossfader curve), 1/4″ mic (with 2-band EQ) and aux phono/line inputs and 1/4″ headphones, balanced XLR master and RCA master, booth and record outputs. Other features are USB port (to connect external storage devices) and keyboard and external CD drive inputs.
This device has a similar design to its little brother and also features iTunes playlist and playlist creation support, search functions, master tempo and key adjusting. The Cortex DMIX-600 Digital Music Controller is now available and its price is $650.
