Although its only a rumor and the photo that illustrates the post is a prototype, the Steve Vai fans should take a look at what could be the new pedal effect from Ibanez, the Ibanez Steve Vai Jemini Distortion Pedal is like 2 stompboxes in 1 case and all points to a mix between the Ibanez TubeScreamer and the Boss DS1 pedals, a great combination of distortion and overdrive tones for the high-gained sound lovers.
The Ibanez Steve Vai Jemini Distortion Pedal prototype features independent controls (volume, tone and gain?) and footswiches for each side of the stompbox and has the classic Jemini colors (similar to the finish features in the Jemini guitars)
Whenever Ibanez releases some info we will bring it to you.
UPDATE (01.31.2008): It looks like Ibanez has finally released the Steve Vai Jemini Distortion Pedal with the specs we announced more than a month ago, the list price of this pedal is $285, so get your money out of the pocket.
