Sometimes is difficult to get a high audio quality from your instruments while recording at home or at not properly isolated studios, one solution is an isolation cabinet, but some of them sound like you were playing a toy guitar. The Grendel Sound Dead Room Isolation Cabinet eliminates the boxed tone features in other isolation cabinets and allows you to record with the highest quality and lower noise while miking your guitar amp.
The Grendel Sound Dead Room Isolation Cabinet features 6″ thick of absorption material, A2 grade Birch plywood (with protected corners), hand-soldered connections, 12″ WGS Veteran 30 60-watt speaker (clone of the Celestion V30), 2 balanced XLR connectors, 2 parallel 1/4″ daisy chain connection and 2 mic mounts and 1 gooseneck for a dynamic microphone.
The isolation cabinet can also be acquired without the speaker and its size and weight are 18.5″ x 16″ x 32″ and 80 lbs. The Grendel Sound Dead Room Isolation Cabinet is now available, only in US, and its price is $399 ($349 without the speaker).

After dealing with Alex the owner of Grendel sound I went elsewhere to purchase in isolation cabinet. This guy was the rudest person I have ever encountered in my 53 years of living that was actually trying to sell something. I think the guys a tweaker, that’s the only think I can surmise by the insanity of his outlandish behavior and foul mouth. Do yourself a favor and BUY ELSEWHERE! Several companies make these cabinets, steer clear of this company at all costs.
