The Vox Clyde McCoy Signature pedal was the first wah pedal and because of that it has converted on a collector’s item, but there are a lot of clones of this wah pedal and even a reissued version by Vox. But the Arteffect Bonnie Wah Pedal claims to be the most accurate reincarnation of the 60s pedal sounding like the original but with a modern design.
The Arteffect Bonnie Wah Pedal features a design that has been designed based on the original circuit and specifications and the components include retro PCB layout (the signal and the components are in the same place than vintage wah pedals), carbon composition resistors, ICAR taper potentiometer, NOS polystyrene, NOS 4uF tone and Tropicana capacitors, ArielFX inductor and 3DPT switch that provides true bypass.
Each pedal built by Arteffect is hand-crafted, including the halo replica inductor, and it’s powered by a 9V battery. The Arteffect Bonnie Wah Pedal is now available and its price is $219.
