The effects company ProTone Pedals has released their own custom version of the Tube Screamer pedal but modified to get a more gained with a lower end tone. The ProTone Pedals Dead Horse Distortion Pedal is supposed to sound better than the original Tube Screamer, would like to hear or see it (video and audio samples are not available yet).
The ProTone Pedals Dead Horse Distortion Pedal classic gain, tone and volume controls, true hardwired bypass, hard on/off stomp switch, on/off super bright LED, clipping diode switch (symetrical or asymetrical), zero noise and is powered by a 9V battery or 9V DC adapter (not included).
This pedal has been built in a durable aluminum housing and features a dead cowboy in the desert draw, similiar to other ProTone pedals draws. The ProTone Pedals Dead Horse Distortion Pedal is now available and its price is $199.
