ZT Amplifiers Lunchbox & Future Amp

ZT Amplifiers Lunchbox & Future Amp

Here we have 2 new models from the Chinese company ZT Amplifiers that one of them, the ZT Amplifiers Lunchbox Amp, could be in the “smallest world’s amp” contest with the Nanohead and the Micro Cube-R. The other model, the ZT Amplifiers Future Amp is also a compact amp, bigger than the Lunchbox, but with the same power. Both models feature a cool metallic design with a handle on the top and obviously the Lunchbox model looks like a lunch box.

The ZT Amplifiers Lunchbox Amp features 200 watts power output, 121 db (at 1 meter), volume, gain, tone and reverb controls, 6.5″ custom speaker and 7” x 8” x 4” size.

The ZT Amplifiers Future Amp features 200 watts power output, 130 db, 2-band EQ, volume, gain and reverb controls, 12″ custom speaker and 13″ x 15″ x 8″ size.

Both amps have a great power output for the size and produce a flexible tone with rich harmonics and expressive dynamics. The ZT Amplifiers Lunchbox & Future Amps will be available next spring and their prices have not been announced yet.

These little dudes look great, and the sound files on the website suggest great promise. I would add one to my arsenal.

I played a Lunchbox 2 today at Guitar Center. Wow, amazing sound and power from such a small amp and speaker. It’s made really well, solid as a rock. I’m going to buy one very soon.

    Alan,

I am very curious to know more about the Lunchbox 2 that you played at GC. I was there today, and looked all through their site, but nobody at GC had heard of it, and there is no mention anywhere that I could find on the website. You are talking about the ZT Lunchbox and not the VOX Nightrain, yes? They look very similar, but are not the same at all, and GC does have those on the site and in their stores.

Can you provide any more details. I would love to find out that GC does, in fact, carry these amps.

    Thanks.
