Mako Amplification MAK2 Guitar Amp

The amp company created by Andrew Solner, Mako Amplification, has released a new amp model for metal guitar players, the Mako Amplification MAK2 Guitar Amp, that has been based on the Dorado model’s preamp. The amp is only available as a head version and has custom made Mako transformers and 4, 8 and 16 ohms speaker outputs.

The Mako Amplification MAK2 Guitar Amp features 100 watts power output, 2 channels (clean and high gain), 5 shielded 12AX7 preamp and 4 6550 power tubes, preamp and volume controls per channel, 3-band EQ, 7-way freak switch, gain, efx mix, presence and depth controls and li/hi output and Standby switch.

This amp, and its Mak2-Black version with EL34 power tube, black controls and MakoPlex preamp, is hand-made and comes with lifetime warranty and a channel switcher footswitch. The Mako Amplification MAK2 Guitar Amp is now available ant its price is $2,250.
