Here we have one of the guitars released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Blade Guitars, the Blade Guitar Texas Custom 20, with the classic Texas series shape design very similar to the Strato design and all the features developed by Blade Guitars included, I will like to play with it a little bit to feel those improvements.
The Blade Guitar Texas Custom 20 features American alder body, hard rock maple neck, rosewood or maple fingerboard, 22 frets, Falcon tremolo bridge, 3 V-3 Humcanceller single-coil pickups, 5-way pickup switch and 3-way VSC-3 Variable Spectrum mini switch and 1 volume and 2 tone controls.
A guitar with warm and natural high tones that is available in black, 3-tone sunburst, candy apple red and vintage white. The Blade Guitar Texas Custom 20 price and availability have to be announced yet.
Blade wass started by Gary Levinson is an extremely talented, innovative and somewhat overlooked builder/designer. His “superstrat” guitars were at the cutting edge back in the 1980s and had many unique and desirable design improvements. It’s good to see the name still alive!
