Drummers are not forgotten here and for them today we bring the new cymbals released by Hammerax company, the Hammerax Liquicy Cymbals. These cymbals are not hard and rigid as we are used to see them but they are flexible and malleable and the sound they produce reminds me a lot of the aqua effects of some pedalboards.
The Hammerax Liquicy Cymbals, that has 2 different versions, the 18″ model and the 22″ model, feature a great vibrato, phase shift tones and provides a huge range of sounds depending on the place hit. If you hit the edges you get a fluid-like sound, if you use it like a ride cymbal you’ll get a mellow washing tone and you can even mount it upside down to get more vibrato and phase shift.
This cymbals come with optional removable rivets and can be played with your hands, a drum stick or a mallet with similar results. The Hammerax Liquicy Cymbals are now available and their prices are $295 for the 18″ model and $370 for the 22″ model.
