G & L Comanche Studio 6 Guitar

G & L Comanche Studio 6 Guitar

Here we have another instrument that could be added to the strange guitars list, the new very limited edition model released by G & L, an update of a previous model. The G & L Comanche Studio 6 Guitar belongs to the custom creations series and is based on Leo Fender’s idea of giving the guitar players a huge range of tones with the same instrument.

The G & L Comanche Studio 6 Guitar features swamp ash body, hard rock maple neck, rosewood or maple fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, G&L Dual Fulcrum bridge, 3 white Magnetic Field Design Z-coil pickups and volume and tone controls. The pickups have low and high sections and to control all the available tones you need to use the 2-way on/off pickup switches (to choose what pickups you want to use, you can even “unplug” the guitar with this controls) and the 3-way coil pickup switch (that allows you to activate the low or the high sections, or both at the same time), to enhance one kind of tone or other, or even all at the same time.

There will be only 100 units available of this guitar, 50 of them in honeyburst finish and maple wood setup and the other 50 in tobacco sunburst finish and rosewood wood configuration, and all of them come with a deluxe tolex hardshell case. The price and availability of the G & L Comanche Studio 6 Guitar have to be announced yet.
