The Alternative Guitar and Amplifier Company new guitars

The Alternative Guitar and Amplifier Company has introduced their first guitar models and their own name says they are… alternative. The 3 models released, SWR, NJR and 34 1/2, have a similar shape and all of the have only 1 pickup (except for one version), lets take a look at their features.

The Alternative Guitar and Amplifier Company SWR and NJR guitars have been designed by Mal Stich and Sal Gonzalez, that’s why they are called Mal ‘n Sal and have the same features, the only difference is small variation of the body shape. Their features are agathis body, maple neck and fingerboard, 24 frets, 25″ scale length, set bridge, 1 HB humbucker pickup and volume and tone controls. The finishes available are solid, salmon, black and ivory.

The Alternative Guitar and Amplifier Company 34 1/2 guitar has 2 different models the standard and the custom, and the main differences between them are that the custom model has 2 humbucker pickups (with a 3-way pickup switch), a maple top and different finishes. The common features are agathis body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard, 21 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Kahler or set bridge, HB humbucker pickup/s and volume and tone controls.

Neither availability nor price of these guitars have been announced.
