We have been some time without a guitar post, but J.C. Harper has announced a new release, the J.C. Harper Luthier Vegas Vulcan Guitar, inspired by a Blue Oyster Cult fan and based on a guitar made by Harper himself 30 years ago, that was played by Blue Oyster Cult’s guitar player Buck Dharma and reissued with some improvements and new features.
The J.C. Harper Luthier Vegas Vulcan Guitar features mahogany body and neck, bolt-on neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, SG-style Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, white DiMarzio PAF (neck) and DiMarzio PAF Pro (bridge) humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch and master volume and 2 tone controls.
The guitar is only available in brown translucent high gloss finish and comes with a Gator hardshell case. The J.C. Harper Luthier Vegas Vulcan Guitar is now available and its price is $1,750 plus shipping.
