The Tascam US-1641 USB Interface has a USB 2.0 port so the speed to load and transfer audio won’t be a problem.
The Tascam US-1641 USB Interface features 8 XLR mic/line and 6 guitar/line (with switch) inputs, stereo S/PDIF in/out, MIDI (with 16 channels) and USB ports, 4 analog, monitor and headphones (both with level control) outputs, level controls per input, selectable +48V phantom power (2 buttons, channels 1-4 and 5-8) and zero-latency hardware monitoring.
This interface comes with the Steinberg Cubase LE4 recording software and Continuous Velocity Piano VSTi plug-in for real grand piano sounds on your computer. The Tascam US-1641 USB Interface is now available and its price is $399.
