Famous DJ Jazzy Jay, who was one of the first artists on the first Rick Rubin record label, Def Jam Recordings, has joined Rane to introduce at AES show the Rane TTM 57SL Jazzy Jay Signature Mixer. This mixer has been based on the TTM 56 model and includes the Serato Scratch LIVE software, that makes it a very good option as a live performance mixer, but it also can be used for radio, podcasting, post production, etc.
The Rane TTM 57SL Jazzy Jay Signature Mixer features 2 channels, 3-band EQ, input level, gain and pan controls per channel, 2 magnetic faders, 1 crossfader, built-in effects (echo, LFO, …), mic with 2-band EQ, aux with level control and RCA line inputs, balanced XLR, balanced 1/4″ TRS booth and unbalanced RCA auxiliary outputs with independent level controls and USB port for firmware updates.
This mixer can play digital and analog sources, up to two digital files while recording or record 2 stereo sources at the same time. The Rane TTM 57SL Jazzy Jay Signature Mixer is now available and its approximate price is $1,500.
