The British guitar company Rees Electric Guitars has released a new model that will remind you a lot of a Stratocaster model, but far from being a copy the S3 Guitar is a high quality component guitar with some interesting features like the carbon fibre reinforced neck joint or the solid figured maple pickguard.
The Rees Electric Guitars S3 Guitar features solid korina body, 22 frets, fingerboard wood at your choice, Kahler Hybrid Vibrato bridge, 2 Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 Pro (neck and middle) and 1 Seymour Duncan Twang Banger (bridge) single-coil pickups, 5-way pickup switch, volume and tone (with push/pull pot) controls. When the tone control is pulled the neck pickup is added to any pickup configuration, allowing to make different combinations like neck + bridge or the 3 pickups at the same time.
Although there is a standard pickup configuration, you can choose the pickups you want from 7 alternative combinations, other features that can be chosen are korina stain colors, maple figuring and fingerboard woods. The Rees Electric Guitars S3 Guitar is now available and its price is £945.
