The AES show brought us some new and interesting releases and some of them had not been commented here, so we’ll comment them during the next days. The first one is the RØDE Microphones M3 a condenser mic, that can be used almost in any kind of tasks, with multi-power functions that allows you avoid the phantom power with a 9V battery.
The RØDE Microphones M3 is a permanently polarized condenser mic that features cardioid polar pattern, 40Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, high pass filter (with switch), low noise, internal capsule shock mount and XLR balanced output.
The battery of this mic lasts up to 200 hours and the mic has a battery indicator. The RØDE Microphones M3, that has a 10-year warranty, is now available and its price is €115.
