There have been 2 announcements about signature guitars last week, the first one is about the Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan “Lenny” Tribute Stratocaster, an exact replica of the ‘65 Strat owned by Stevie Ray Vaughan which was used to write the song Lenny. After a few changes, like the new maple fretboard, and the tragic death of its owner the guitar was auctioned and purchased by Guitar Center. If you are interested on this guitar you can take a look at the official site and wait until December 12, when this very limited edition guitar will become available at some stores.
The other signature model announced is the PRS Ron Fellows Guitar, a limited edition guitar that was released earlier this year as an one-off model that was made and designed to match the Z06 Corvette owned by the car driver Ron Fellows. PRS will release 50 units of this model as a result of the huge number of customer petitions, the price of this guitars will be around $4,000.
