The 44th week of the Guitar of the Week series, that should be introduced in late November is the Gibson Les Paul Standard Un-burst, a very cool looking guitar with some interesting features, like DiMarzio pickups or a 50′ rounded neck, on a classic Les Paul Standard model.
The Gibson Les Paul Standard Un-burst features mahogany body with AA figured maple top, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Nashville bridge with stopbar tailpiece, 2 DiMarzio Double Crème PAF-style humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch and 2 volume and 2 tone controls.
The un-burst finish featured on this guitar is one of the coolest looking finish I’ve seen on a Gibson’s recent release. The price and availability of the Gibson Les Paul Standard Un-burst have to be announced yet and its production run will be limited to 400 units.
