Again, Line6 updates one of its products lines with a new model, this time is the TonePort series that adds a 8-channel recording interface. The Line6 TonePort UX8 Interface includes the same tone engine than the POD products (GearBox) so you can use all the sound power from guitar or bass amps modeled and effects.
The Line6 TonePort UX8 Interface features 24-bit audio processing and 96 kHz sampling rate, 8 XLR (with high-quality mic preamps and +48V phantom power), 8 line 1/4″, 2 jack 1/4″ instrument (front panel) and 1 S/PDIF inputs, 1/4″ balanced line, 2 stereo headphones and S/PDIF outputs, USB 2.0 connection, 18 guitar amps and 24 cabinets (including Marshall, MesaBoogie or Orange amps), 5 bass amps and 5 cabinets (including Ampeg, Fender, Eden and Gallien Kruger amps), 6 mic preamps (including API, Neve and Avalon preamps) and 30 stompbox and studio effects (like 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb, Fuzz Face, Vox Wah and many others).
This interface includes the GearBox modeling software and plug-in in different formats (VST, AU and RTAS) to ensure the compatibility with all the audio production software. The Line6 TonePort UX8 Interface is now available and its price is $499.95.
