The RSS company, owned by Roland, has released a new mixing and recording system for live shows, the RSS M-400 V-Mixing System. This is a high-quality fully digital system because of the REAC (Roland Ethernet Audio Communication) technology that sends the audio from the mic preamps on the stage to the mixing console to mix or record it.
The RSS M-400 V-Mixing System features 48 channels, 16 buses, 24-bit audio processing and 44.1/48 kHz sampling rate, 4 stereo effects processors, 4 graphic EQs, 4-band EQ (with gain level control per band), pan, preamp gain, noise gate threshold, compressor threshold and aux send level knobs, 24 touch-sensitive moving faders, 8-channel XLR inputs and outputs, RCA input for external players, digital (for speakers) and headphones outputs and MIDI and USB ports.
The M-400 can record up to 40 simultaneously tracks with very high quality and lossless transmission and has been designed to be very easy to use with a big LCD screen. The price and availability of the RSS M-400 V-Mixing System has to be announced yet.
