
Only 3 months after the release of the Guitar Rig 2 Producer’s Pack, Native Instruments has announced the next version of their all-you-need guitar/bass studio software. This Native Instruments Guitar Rig 3 includes some improvements from the previous versions.
The Native Instruments Guitar Rig 3 software features 12 amps (four of them new, ultrasonic, high-gained modern-like amp; citrus, 70’s Orange amp-like; classic white, classic British Marshall tone; and tweed light, a classic bluesy American amp), 17 guitar and 6 bass cabinets (with simplified process to select it), 9 position-adjustable mics, 44 effects (with 6 new modules from previous version, TapeEcho; delay man, qith chorus and vibrato; sledge hammer, overdrive and distortion; real wah; custom EQ; and ring modulator), 300 presets, multi-function assignable controls (many functions can be activated/deactivated from on single control) and some optimization improvements and more views.
There will be two versions of this software, the Software and the Kontrol Editions, this last one will include the Kontrol Rig 3 foot pedal interface that has two additional switches and the old version features like expression pedal, preset up and down, tuner and tap switches.
The Native Instruments Guitar Rig 3 will be available in October and the prices will be $559 for the Kontrol Edition and $339 for the Software Edition.
